Time is nigh for a brand new series here at MetalRecusants. Inspired by the book “Heavy Metal Thunder – Album Covers That Rocked The World“, every month we will be revealing our album artwork of the month. It won’t necessarily be very recent but it will definitely be underground, kvlt, slaytanic and misanthropic. So, this month we look at a legendary band… quite popular in their homeland Poland. In the words of Peter (Vader), KAT to Poland was exactly the same thing what Black Sabbath was to the West. Below you may view the cover to the 1988 album Oddech WymarÅ‚ych Åšwiatów and also the newer edition which was released in 2006. If you’re into some classic heavy thrash with even some early black metal elements, by all means do check out the clips below as you will not regret it.
Tracklisting:
1. Porwany Obłędem
2. Śpisz Jak Kamień
3. Dziewczyna w Cierniowej Koronie
4. Diabelski Dom cz. II
5. Mag-Sex
6. Głos z Ciemności
7. Bramy Żądz
For the full KAT discography check out Metal-Archives. Currently, KAT is recording and gigging under the name KAT & Roman Kostrzewski. Their newest effort was released this year with the title Biało-Czarna.
