ACCEPT to Perform “Very Special Show” at WACKEN OPEN AIR

Following a video teaser, German heavy metal veterans Accept are announced to perform a “very special show” at Wacken Open Air this August. The concert will be a part of the festival’s “A Night to Remember” and will consist of three different parts.

The first part of the Accept show will feature new songs from their upcoming album, The Rise of Chaos, which will be released the following day via Nuclear Blast. These new songs will be exclusively performed for the Wacken audience. Obviously, Accept will also play their hits, some older tracks, and fan favourites.

The second part will be the premiere of Wolf Hoffmann and the Czech National Symphony Orchestra performing Wolf’s solo album Headbangers Symphony. The album adapts some of the greatest works of classical music, such as Beethoven’s Symphony no. 9.

The closing third part combines everything for the grand finale: Accept will rock the stage together with the orchestra, which will be framed by a complex multimedia show.

Considering how amazing the Savatage & Trans Siberian Orchestra show was a couple years ago, this could be a show not to miss.

Wolf Hoffmann of Accept comments:

It has always impressed us how seriously the bands take this evening and with how much love artists and organizers always surprise in their diversity. This is a beautiful custom, which shows and documents the level of the international rock community like no other. We also want to show something that Accept has never ever shown before and we hope we are able to offer something special to the fans.

Tickets are still available via the Metaltix website.

About Dom (1260 Articles)
I started this website in 2011 because I always had a burning passion of sharing music and keeping people informed about what's going on in the metal and rock worlds. If I am not sitting in a dark room in front of a computer, listening to some obscure music (or Whitesnake), then I am usually found at a concert or a festival interviewing bands (or drinking beer).
