The band will also be promoting their new reissue of their last album Proceder via Metal Mind Productions. Proceder has been out of print for many years. Released in 2004, it is claimed to be one of the most important Polish rock releases of the last 20 years. The reissue is set for release on 22nd May 2015 with a vinyl release coming later in Autumn.

TSA started its rock ‘n’ roll life in Opole in 1979 as an instrumental quartet. After an appearance at Jarocin Festival in 1981 – which was one of the only alternative festivals in the Soviet Bloc – the band was joined by Marek Piekarczyk on vocals and became a quintet. In the 80s, TSA toured the whole of Poland relentlessly with one year totalling almost 300 concerts. They were – and still are – undoubtedly one of the most popular bands listened to in Poland with releases such as TSA (1983), Heavy Metal World (1984), Rock ‘n’ Roll (1988) and Proceder (2004). The band has also been warmly received by the West with appearances in the UK, USA, Holland, Belgium, France and Germany. Although the band’s lyrics are in Polish, they have released two albums for audiences outside of Poland: Spunk! (1984) and Heavy Metal World (1985). Popular extreme metal bands such as Vader and Behemoth have all cited the band as an important influence.

About Dom (1278 Articles)
I started this website in 2011 because I always had a burning passion of sharing music and keeping people informed about what's going on in the metal and rock worlds. If I am not sitting in a dark room in front of a computer, listening to some obscure music (or Whitesnake), then I am usually found at a concert or a festival interviewing bands (or drinking beer).
