Ghost bath 2016 band

If 2015 was the year that broke Ghost Bath, 2016 was the year that put them on the map. They exploded onto the scene last year with an epic album in Moonlover (the best album of 2015), but this year was the year they made their mark on music. They were signed to Nuclear Blast which re-released Moonlover to a new audience in support of their first ever USA and European tours, becoming one of the most successfully Suicidal Depressive Black Metal bands of all time.

The fact that a band which performs SDBM has become one of the most talked about bands of the year shows how much they’ve struck a nerve. They were a much needed shock to the system, something very different. When they played festivals, people flocked to see them to see what the fuss was about. While the vocals may have divided opinion, there’s one thing for certain, this is not the last we’ve heard of Ghost Bath.

Jack had a chat with Nameless from Ghost Bath earlier this year, you can read that chat here.

About Jack (819 Articles)
I am a recent graduate from the University of Essex in Colchester where by the luck of Odin I met the editor, Dom. I first got into metal when I was 13 and now I am 22 and own an uncountable amount of band T-shirts. I also regularly attend gigs (local and in neighbouring areas) as well as festivals. My musical taste is varied; I like nu metal (my first love), thrash, black, death, doom, folk, sludge (my favourite genre), symphonic and many more of the multiple genres that metal has to offer, I even like some metalcore (I know it's a dirty word within some metal circles but some of it is outstanding). One of my most memorable metal moments was meeting Grand Magus at the Bloodstock signing tent and having the whole tent to myself, spending a few minutes talking to them.
